Following Day 8 of the advent calendar on social media, the name Viridescence was chosen from among the suggestions by Daria Jamison, president of the Nevada Pastel Society RRPSN.
Once again, a fantastic set of 25 pastels created to accompany the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada exhibition:
Green - Great Smoky Mountain
Mostly green gradients, often associated with nature, the cycle of life, and balance. Green is also the color of hope.
Paired with red more festive and generous it brings us into the warmth at the heart of winter, the tradition of Christmas, generosity, and sharing.
Or perhaps it is calm versus passion?
